Filecoin says one Publish skill install covers several coding agents

On September 27, 2026, Filecoin’s account said Warm Storage is not tied to one coding agent. The Publish skill, the post said, works with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot, OpenCode, and other skills.sh-compatible agents, from whichever one is open. “One install works for all of them.”

The post is a portability claim about that skill. In Filecoin’s agent docs, publish is the first packaged skill in a set that is still growing, and it drives the Filecoin Pin CLI underneath. Tell an agent to publish, share, or pin a file, and the docs say it returns a link as soon as the content identifier is known, then confirms the link once verification passes. The form they show is https://inbrowser.link/ipfs/<cid>.

The documented install is:

The same page requires Node.js 24 or later, an Ethereum-style wallet on Filecoin, FIL for transaction fees, and USDFC to pay for storage. “5 USDFC is enough to start.”

Funding stays with a person. Running filecoin-pin login pairs the agent with a scoped, revocable session key that a human approves in the console. “No private key ever touches the agent,” and a session key cannot move money. Authorizing the Warm Storage Service to spend USDFC, and depositing funds into Filecoin Pay, is a console step in the Add Service flow, in a single wallet transaction. After that one-time setup, the docs say the agent can store and pay without approval on every transaction.

Nothing in these two sources is a retrieval benchmark, and nothing shows that each listed agent was tested on its own. The agent list is the account’s statement. Skills for agent memory and identity are described as still on the way.
