On September 14, 2026, Nous Research posted that Hermes Agent is “open for business.” Nous Portal now lets you invite colleagues into a Hermes Business account: the team gets agents across channels while sharing one central balance with per-member caps, and shared skills that “compound into proprietary IP.”
Hermes Business is the team SKU on Nous Portal—colleague invites, a shared balance, and skills treated as internal IP. Hermes Enterprise runs that stack on-prem or in a private cloud, on infrastructure you control.
The Portal’s Business page calls it “a self-improving agent for every team member.” Three feature blocks do the selling:
- Gain Collective Wisdom. Skills anyone on the team discovers are shared across the org.
- Develop Spend Intelligence. One harness across every AI model, with visibility on cost and ROI.
- Own Your Frontier. Skills, memory, and workflows compound into proprietary capability.
FAQ copy on the same page is more operational. Business is a shared Hermes deployment: one balance, hosted agents for every member, and skills that spread automatically. You invite by email from the Team page. Owners and admins manage roles, caps, and API keys; members sign in and go. One central balance funds the team; members draw from it under caps you set, and spend shows up in the portal. Skills any member builds land in a team library. Business data lives in an isolated tenant per team on Nous infrastructure. There is no public price list.
Hermes Enterprise is the contact-us SKU. The page says run it on infrastructure you control—on-prem or private cloud—with tailored deployment, SSO, SLAs, and white-glove onboarding, “built around how your organization already works.” The FAQ contrast is blunt: Business is self-serve on Nous infrastructure; Enterprise runs on yours and keeps data there.
What the marketing page actually names for integrations: Discord, Telegram, Slack, and WhatsApp through the Team Gateway, plus the terminal, desktop apps, and the cloud. Models: every model on the Nous inference API, plus your own provider keys. It does not publish a model catalog, dollar pricing, or a finer residency map.
If you are standing up a team, start on the Hermes Business page and create a team. If you need on-prem or a private cloud, use the Enterprise contact path on that page.
