Adobe's customer-experience agent is no longer only a ChatGPT plugin. The Next Web reported that Adobe said Wednesday CX Enterprise Coworker now works inside ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, and Databricks Genie. Adobe expects Amazon Quick, IBM, and Snowflake to follow soon.
The ChatGPT arrival is older. On September 29, 2026, Anjul Bhambhri wrote that the CX Enterprise Coworker plugin in ChatGPT was available that day. The Next Web's report is about the wider host list and new connectors, not a first launch inside ChatGPT.
The agent plans and runs customer-experience work across Adobe's marketing software. The Next Web says it tracks campaign results and trends, forecasts audiences, improves customer journeys, and helps with planning and project management. It runs with human oversight and is built on two open standards: the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent2Agent (A2A). In ChatGPT it is a plugin.
The September post is more specific about that plugin. It keeps context from audience curation through journey design, asset creation, offer decisioning, and channel activation, and it governs itself within policy boundaries, with human touchpoints defined by enterprise approval processes. The Next Web does not describe new approval rules for Claude, Gemini, Copilot, or Databricks Genie.
Adobe also launched connectors through ready-made MCP servers. The Next Web names Amazon Ads, Demandbase, Microsoft Work IQ, RainFocus, and Snowflake, plus a connector for Meta ad campaigns. Adobe said marketers can then pull data and take actions across several systems with a single request. A Snowflake connector is not a Snowflake host: that host is still expected. Databricks Genie is named as a live host, not as one of those connectors.
Bhambhri, who leads engineering for the product at Adobe, said: "Today, marketers often use AI tools in isolation, without the organizational context and domain intelligence needed to personalize every stage of the customer lifecycle." Rob Howard, who runs Copilot's platform and extensibility work at Microsoft, said: "This gives marketing teams the speed and flexibility to orchestrate more personalized experiences at scale."
Adobe's September post said the coworker already gives over 2,500 customers and early adopters the ability to move with greater speed and clarity, compressing campaign timelines that used to span weeks to days. The Next Web's figure of more than 20,000 brands is about Adobe software for content, customer engagement, and brand visibility, not a coworker count.
Before you enable the agent outside ChatGPT, read The Next Web's live-versus-expected host list and Adobe's September 29 post for the original plugin scope. Do not treat Amazon Quick, IBM, or Snowflake as hosts you can use yet.
